Deductive reasoning
Deductive reasoning(Rule reasoning)
Definition
Deductive reasoning uses rules, definitions, or necessary relationships to reach a conclusion. If the premises are true and the argument is valid, the conclusion must be true — there is no maybe about it.
Memory hook
“Deduction = rule-based certainty.”
What it sounds like

- If that's true, then this must be true.
